Easy-to-use, magnetic buckle for those with reduced hand function.
- Independent fastening: The Soloc Connect features a standard webbing belt paired with the Soloc magnetic buckle, allowing users with limited hand function to fasten and release their belt independently – promoting greater autonomy and reducing reliance on carer assistance.
- Fully adjustable with optional padding: The belt is fully adjustable for a personalised fit. Optional padding is available in two different lengths to enhance postural support and comfort.
- Innovative magnetic buckle: Every Soloc product features a unique magnetic buckle system designed for ease of use by individuals with:
- Reduced hand function
- Limb difference
- Use of only one hand
- Secure and easy to use: Magnets guide the connection, while a mechanical lock keeps the belt securely fastened under pressure. To release, press the release button, or slide a finger into the pull tab and pull. The buckle disengages smoothly, even under full body weight.
- Rigorous safety testing: All Soloc belts are tested to ISO 16840-3 and ISO 16840-10 standards, ensuring high safety and durability.
How does it work?
The Connect is the simplest pelvic positioning hip belt from Soloc:
- To fasten: just bring the stud side close to the buckle – magnets pull it closed and lock it securely.
- To tighten: the belt easily by pulling the large D-ring, allowing you to adjust for different clothing.
- To release: simply press the release button or pull the tab – no more struggling with tricky clasps or waiting for help.

- Each belt includes fixings for pre-existing holes in your wheelchair. If your chair doesn’t have holes, you’ll need two Tubular Frame Clamps (available separately).
- We recommend professional fitting for your positioning belt. Please note: these belts are not suitable for use as vehicle restraints.
